Payment protection launches alongside the mobile app in partnership with a licensed payment processing partner. Neither taiLOR nor Savilinks Technology holds public deposits directly. Custody and payment transmission are governed under contractual integration with licensed financial institutions.
1. Standard Three-Stage Milestone Structure
Custom tailoring orders commissioned on taiLOR are structured into three distinct milestone payments:
Triggered upon order confirmation, fabric selection, and locked measurement dimensions. This funds initial fabric cutting and queues workshop production.
Triggered when the tailor confirms cutting is complete and garment assembly is underway, accompanied by photo progress updates in-app.
Released to the tailor after physical delivery and the customer approves the fit of the finished garment.
2. Illustrative Pricing Breakdown
For example, on a ₦100,000 order: 40% deposit, 40% at production, 20% on delivery.
- ₦40,000 released upon order kickoff and fabric approval.
- ₦40,000 released when production reaches intermediate assembly.
- ₦20,000 released after you try on the Senator suit or Agbada and verify the cut.
3. Fit Verification Window & Alterations
Upon physical delivery, customers have a 72-hour inspection window to try on the garment and check the fit against the recorded order measurements.
If an alteration is required due to measurement deviation or sewing defects, the tailor is granted priority to adjust the garment before the final milestone is authorized.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Before Fabric Cutting: Cancellations initiated prior to fabric cutting are eligible for a full refund minus nominal payment processing fees.
- During Production: If custom fabric has been cut or altered, the initial deposit is non-refundable to cover materials. Unfulfilled subsequent stages will not be billed.
- Non-Delivery or Severe Defect: If a tailor fails to deliver by the agreed deadline or ruins custom fabric beyond repair, our support team mediates prompt refunds of unreleased milestones.
